Hello everyone! This week is a special one here in the U.S. We celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday and it really is a time to be thankful. I hope this week you will get to know a little more about each Design Team member as each day one of us will be posting more about us and the things we are thankful for in our lives. I invite you to visit all the DT blogs by clicking on their picture on the left side of the blog! We will each also be showcasing our little "Book of Blessings" using the QuicKutz Accordion Book available in the Die Cuts R Us Store! My book showcases some of the things I am thankful for in my life! So here we go-

I'm first! I am so very blessed. I have an amazing family who never ceases to amaze me. We lost my little brother Matt, who was 18, in a car accident 4 years ago and life has been tough to deal with since. My parents amaze me with their love for each other and their strength through the tears. They have a marriage that I admire so much. My sister also amazes me with her love and compassion for others. I am so honored and thankful to say that I am a part of them. My husband is an amazingly strong man. His health has given him quite a few problems over the past couple of years as he suffers from a genetic disorder, Marfan's Syndrome. He has been in and out of surgeries, on and off medications, etc and he deals with it one day at a time. I am so thankful that I got the chance to meet him as a college freshman 9 years ago. I married my college sweetheart in 2006 and have never looked back! And I am so blessed for my sweet little son. He is a bundle of unpredictable fun and I smile and thank God every morning when I hold him. He was born 11 months after my brother passed and God couldn't have put him here at a better time. We had joy, smiles, and tears of a different kind when he arrived. He is the little angel who got me through it all. I am blessed to be able to be home with him, run my business, and be a mom & wife the way I always hoped to be. Life isn't always handed to you gift wrapped with a pretty bow, we all have hardships, and troubles, and trials that make us who we are. I am thankful for being able to live this story. It makes me me, and for that I am thankful. It' s our story to write. But as a great friend once wrote, "Life is full of ups and downs, we dance, we laugh, we cry- Yet this I know- in Dreams we grow- we spread our wings we fly." Happy Thanksgiving my wonderful friends! I am thankful to have each of you!
