Thanksgiving Week Blessings- Sarabeth

 Hi everyone,

this week at Die Cuts R Us,

the team has put the challenge

on hold and has decided

to let you in on what we are

Thankful for this holiday season.

I hope that you will take the time

each day to learn a little

bit more about each designer.

Today is Thanksgiving Day,

and i'm up...here is a little poem,

story kind of thing I wrote about

what I am Thankful for along with
my Little Book of Blessings
that I created :)

I hope you enjoy it.

I am thankful for...

i am thankful for waking up every morning and

soaking in that morning sun,

when my neighbor isn't in my window

ringing that darn bell to call her cat.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors house-

i pray every day for the strength to not.

i am thankful for the food i eat,

even though last year on thanksgiving morning

i ended up with food poisoning.

i pray that everyone can have

a warm meal every day.

i am thankful for my job,

although i was so very tempted to

trip my co-worker the other day.

i can only hope that one day

my kindness will be passed along.

i am thankful for my puppy riley james,

he peed in my bed just this morning.

patience is a virtue-

by loving we can make it through.

i am thankful for the love of my life,

my wall, my shoulder, my joker...

he tried helping out with laundry last week and

now i have to go shopping because

my entire wardrobe is now pink, even towels.

no one is perfect, not even myself believe it or not-

accept everything the way it is and things will be a lot easier in life. 

laugh at the silliness and move on. 

getting angry only gives you wrinkles.

i am thankful for my mother, my father and my sister, they are my guidance, hope & inspiration.

what would we do without a little embarrassment,

we need it to know we are human.

i am thankful for my nephews.

the only time i still get to play dinosaurs, playdoh,

do puzzles, watch transformers 47 times in a row, eat 10 bags of fruit snacks,

chase the ice cream truck, play in the ball pit and

sing off tune without having to have an excuse.

even when they color my carpet with permanent markers, fed my dog playdoh and told me

that i should really brush my hair sometimes lol,

the innocence, honor and honesty

goes unexplained-it's beautiful.

i am thankful for my in-laws,

all 3 sister in laws and my brother in law,

yes this is true from the bottom of my heart-

i honestly do not have any complaints worth the conversation, a miracle definitely found this for me :)

i am thankful for the friends i have, new and old.

the only people on earth that can laugh at you, critic you, listen, talk, cry and laugh with you

all in the same conversation

and at the end, you are all still friends.

Always forgive, and don't hold yourself back.
