Guest Designer: Piali Biswas: Gift Set.

Hi ! I'm Piali . I'm so excited to be here as a Guest Desinger for DCRU blog.
Today I will share with you a fun tutorial for a beautiful gift set...perfect for the teacher's gift, mother's day, birthday..almost any occasion ..

Lets start with the supplies....

2 sheets of 12"x 12" cardstock..
1 sheet of Acetate(8 1/2" x 11"),
 Justrite Stampers,
 Nestabilities: Labels One, Circle.
Cuttlebug embossing folder-- Swiss dots,
Post-it (3" x 3"), Ribbon, Candy..I used Hershey minis...

Step1:
We will make the box first....Cut cardstock to 5-1/4" x 10-1/2". Score at 1/2" and 1" on all 4 sides.
I have marked the lines for better view..

Step2:
Cut off the X marked portions....

Step 3:
Apply Scor-tape as shown...I love Scor-tape..its the best adhesive for these kind of projects..

Step 4:
Now fold carefully to make the box-base....and adhere

Step 6:
Next  we will make a divider insert for the box..
Cut Cardstock to 3"x 10 1/2" ...then score at 3-1/4", 3-3/4", 4-1/4", 6",6 1/2" and 7"...

Step 7:
Fold the score lines into mountain and valley folds..like this..

Step 8:
Adhere it to the box base with scor-tape...

Step 9:
Now we will make the slider cover..Cut the acetate to 8 1/2" x 8 3/8".
Score at 1/2", 3-13/16, 4-3/8", 7-11/16" ..and apply scor-tape to the 1/2" part.

slide it on the box and then adhere the ends..for better fit.

Our box is done...now lets fill it up with goodies..

Step 10:
Cut three pieces  of  3" x 1 1/2" patterned paper  and wrap it around the Hershey Minis..

Step 11:
To make the post -it holder... cut cardstock to 3" x 6 1/4" and score it at 3" and 3 1/4"..
I embossed it with Cuttlebug Swiss dot folder..

Step 12:
Adhere the post it to the cover using scor-tape....

Step 13:
Now embellish the cover as you like..I used  Label one die to cut a piece of Bo Bunny Paper and added  flowers with iCandy Epoxy Brads...

Step 14:
Time for mini note cards.. Cut 4--- 3"x6" cardstock pieces..
Score at 3" to make mini notecards..I embossed them with Swiss dot folders...
and add a strip of 1" x 3" Bo Bunny paper..

Step 15:
Stamped the Justrite Stamper's sentiment and image with Momento ink on white Neenah paper,
colored the image quickly with Copic Markers..

Adhere the image to the cards and punched a hole with Crop-a-dile to add bow..
and finally adhere two Dew drops...

Step 16:
We have all the goodies ready..time to complete the package with Ribbon ...

Hope you like my tutorial..give it a try..you will love it.
You can also fill it up with  tags or two mini photo frame or mini stamp sets..and lots more.
Thanks for stopping by...

When you use the just rite stamp, how do you get the circle cut out so perfectly? Is it a die cut and you center the stamp or is there a tip you could give me?? HELLPP!!
