Winner's Post for the No Designer Paper/Patterned Paper Challenge

Winners for the No Designer/Patterned Paper Challenge:

I am supposed to pick just 3 Top 3 and 1 overall winner out of  60 entries????  Seriously???

Well I looked at them all during the week and then again tonight I started from entry 1 and went to the end entry #60 and I kept about 23 of my favorites open and then I started eliminating from those favorites (which was really really hard!!!!)

And you know what I realized when you have a challenge like this you almost need categories to win because there were several different ways people went with their No Designer Paper or Patterned Paper on their creations.  As I weeded through all the amazing entries I picked up on about 5 types of categories I kept seeing throughout the process.

1.) There is the 3-D Items

2.) The Embossed Items creating Texture for Patterns instead of Designer Patterns

3.) The use of scenes on their cards using just card stock and stamps

4.) Creating a Really good card with lots of elements and embellies and not using any Designer Coordinating Papers to help.

5.) Creating Patterns using Stamps and Inks to make great alternate looking DSP's

So Guess What I have winners in every category!!!!!

Under the I won top 3 Category Winners pick up your button on the right of this post to display on your blog and Congrats to the winners are:

1.) Use of Embossing and Texture to create a Patterned Paper look without using Patterned Paper
There were a ton of these and they were all pretty but here are my very favorites!!!

Cammy
All that texture and added fun this is totally a "Cool" pun entended card!!!!

She used Crepe Paper to make this cool creation!!!!  How totally inventive and creative is that???  Amazing!!!!!

I love the elegance of this pretty creation!!!!

2.) The use of scenes on their cards using just card stock and stamps (This is one of my main styles of making cards if you notice I don't use DSP or Patterned Paper much but I do create a ton of scenes!!!)

Love those cool waves created with torn card stock and that added ribbon Octopus and fish WOW!!!!

3.) Creating Patterns using Stamps and Inks to make great alternate looking DSP's
Look at all this gorgeousness created with a stamp for the background!!!!  Wonderful creation!!!!
I love the simpleness of this creation but those gorgeous colors make it totally pop!!!!!

4.) Creating a Really good card with lots of elements and embellies and not using any Designer Coordinating Papers to help.
