Cuttlebug Fun!!!

Hi everyone, my name is Amber, and welcome to the Die Cuts R Us DT Blog. Today I am spotlighting products that are near and dear to my heart, 3 new Cuttlebug Embossing Folders. These 3 folders and many more can be found at the DCRU Store. And Claudia has the most amazing sales on all her products, so you'd better go straight there AFTER you read my post : )

First up is a folder I didn't think I would be crazy about....but boy was I wrong. I use this folder constantly. The Diamond Plate:

This folder adds such amazing texture to cards and projects, plus it is perfect to sand. Here's a card I made using the Cosmo Cricket Lil Man line that can be found at DCRU:

Next up on my "must have" list is the Victoria Embossing folder. Now I already know what you're thinking, "I already have embossing folders with vines and flowers"....Take it from me, they don't compare to this new beauty! The details of the embossing are amazing:

Here's an Autumn card I made using the Victoria folder:

This card is simple to make...it's actually just paper piecing. But look at all the details the Victoria folder adds. Here's another tip for this folder...I love embossing on yellow paper with it. Usually when I'm done I run white ink over it and that highlights the embossing beautifully.

Last, but not least, another new folder that's a "must". The Stars Embossing Folder:

This folder is one of the most versatile yet. When I saw it, I thought ok...4th of July. But when I had time to REALLY think what this little folder can do, it amazed me! It is perfect for the 4th of July, Sports, Christmas, Achievement cards, and the list goes on and on. Here is a Christmas card I made using the Stars folder:

Hope you've enjoyed seeing some of my favorite new products! Did I mention the price of Cuttlebug folders are marked down at the DCRU Store! Perfect time to go shopping! Check out all the new folders and of course you can't forget the older one's that we can't craft without (Swiss Dots)!

Enjoy!

Love your cards, Amber! I thought the same thing about the Diamond Plate but it's a keepe. What did you do to dress up your stars, ink them? I really like the distressed look.

Amber,
These cards are amazing! You have most definitely displayed the most popular embossing folders. No fear DT ladies... more are on the way as we speak (or type). :)

Thanks so much girls! It's easy to do a Spotlight Post when you adore the products!
Cara, I did use Tim Holtz distress ink on my stars to make them stand out, so easy!
