Hello everyone! I am SO excited to be here today to share a spotlight with you! It just happens to be one of my FAVORITE items in my craft studio- my Cricut!
Which, by the way, are available at a
CRAZY low price at DCRU. And remember all your Bug Owners- Cricut Accessories and paper packs are always available for AT LEAST 45% off at DCRU everyday!! You can see the selection
here. Now for a really embarrassing story. :) When I first saw this machine in a store, I came home telling my husband all about it. While I was describing it and all it's glory I constantly referred to it as the "Cry-Cut". I didn't know any better :) I didn't know anyone who had one, and had yet to see the infomercial on it. SO, now that my husband knows that it's a "Crick-It", I have yet to live it down the "Cry-Cut" days. Honest mistake, I am a visual girl ;)
Now on with the fun!
Just in case you haven't ventured into the world of a Cricut &
Vinyl by Provo Craft, let me share with you today a few more reasons to do so! We all know the Cricut machines are great tools for scrapbooking & card making. With the use of the plethora of
cartridges on the market, almost every shape, animal, and style can be found. However, so many new doors opened for me when I started playing around with the
vinyl!
I adore these glass jars! I simply bought these inexpensive glass jars at my local craft store and filled with candy. I then used my Cricut and several cuts from different cartridges to cut vinyl lettering and shapes and added them to the front. After tying with coordinating ribbon I had some great gifts for friends, family, and even some of my son's friends! I just LOVE the pirate one! The white vinyl is available
here. Here you can see that the die cut used allows the candy colors to show through! This money can be found on the New Arrival cartridge. The brown vinyl can be found here for the lowest price I have seen!
Next I decided to try my hand at adding vinyl to candles. It was so super easy and fast that I had about 4 done in NO time! The Rose Pink Vinyl from DCRU, looked great against the white candle! I added some ribbon and instant personalized gift!
The vinyl can also be used with the transfer tape to make beautiful wall decor. I have not ventured to this yet, but do have friends who have and they love it! I am going to attempt to add my married monogram to my bathroom wall soon! I will be sure to show you!!!
I hope you have enjoyed seeing some things you can do with your Cricut and Vinyl. Look for a tutorial coming up soon from me using these!!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Don't forget to check out these deals and more at http://www.diecutsrus.com/
